New Salt Water Range!
Howdy all, I hope you’ve been fishing loads. Unfortunately Scotland has been hot and dry mainly but the rain seems to have arrived at last. In the meantime I’ve been occupying myself with sea trout in the saltwater of the Clyde Estuary on those rare cooler days.
I’ve tied a whole bunch of saltwater patterns for a few destinations recently, Gotland in Sweden being one and really enjoy making them for different species, it’s a pleasure to be involved in folks adventures.
Above are some patterns I picked out that do well for Sea Trout and Bass (and bloody mackerel !). There’s lots more to add but it will take a little time, as always if you can’t see what you’re looking for just get in touch (grant@scandicandy.uk).
All are tied exclusively on Ahrex hooks which are saltwater resistant with specialist coatings.

Designed to imitate an infected Shrimp that fish are naturally attracted to. The shrimp glows orange due to an invasive parasite, which also makes the shrimp swim in open water! A more natural looking offering for picky fish

Black, orange and a hint of yellow, a great grilse fly from the river Ness in Scotland. Tied with long bristles which flick and kick in the water and a little flash
Large Conehead on plastic glitter tubing for a wee extra sparkle, these sink very well and can be fished fast or slow to control depth, great for searching water and easy to cast.
