Theses have two body hackles which keep the wing supported so the fly fishes in even the fastest water. They really do look like living things, a great fly if you fancy trying something different than the usual colour schemes.

A classic Scandi fly, very popular in Norway on rivers like the Gaula. Strands of flashy angel hair throughout the wing layers create a translucent living thing in the water.

Tied on a brass US tube with a large conehead, these are heavy flies for faster water or getting down a bit quicker. They cast very well on a sinktip line and swim beautifully.
The wing is constructed in 3 layers with flash sandwiched in between, and the body is a spiky dubbing that’s brushed out with a green tag.
It all forms a lovely teardrop shape in the water that swims away on its own
This style can be tied fairly small and is fished with a free swinging hook, I found a single is best to avoid tangling

Samurai style pattern tied with holographic flash through the grey wings and a mix of silver and red flash dubbing. Pearl rubber legs wriggle away behind a nice soft hackle. If you want a fly that glows this is it!

My version of the Scandi legend , The Banana, Samurai style. Holographic Gold braid body and a gold mix dubbing, with more gold holographic flash through the wing. It all comes together in the water to make a life like swimming creature. Very popular fly colour all over the world
